SOCIAL SECURITY & MEDICARE
Americans paid into Social Security and trusted that our government would fulfill its promises. People like my mom, who has paid into Social Security and Medicare for fifty years, are at risk of not being paid what they are owed.
▪As United States Senator, I will protect Social Security and Medicare. The reason why Social Security and Medicare are in danger is because politicians and bureaucrats raided those programs for their pet projects.
▪Social Security is outpaced by the rapidly increasing high cost of living, leaving our seniors vulnerable. We need to lower prices for consumables so Seniors and those living on fixed income will see their dollar go further.
If our government has the money to pay for pensions in Ukraine, we have the money to meet our commitments to Social Security with no gimmicks, no tricks, and no schemes. Period.
